Thesis project

The aim of this thesis is to conduct a multidisciplinary analysis, combining sociology and economics, applied to the development of platforms and, more generally, new forms of digital intermediation in the agricultural world.

These new forms of intermediation affect all aspects of farmers' activities: financing, marketing, equipment rental, co-product management, etc. Because of their areas of expertise, these new players are confronting and sometimes competing with historical players, in particular professional agricultural organizations.
